        Sinds eind jaren negentig blijkt dat het corrosieproces aan stalen damwanden in het Rotterdamse havengebied sneller verloopt dan waar de norm destijds van uitging en dus bij het ontwerp rekening mee gehouden is. Om deze problematiek het hoofd te kunnen bieden is het Havenbedrijf Rotterdam NV middels een intensief programma bezig:

        — kademuren, steigers e.d. te inspecteren op corrosie en (corrosie-)schade;

        — de aangetroffen schades te herstellen;

        — de kademuren, steigers e.d. te voorzien van een kathodische bescherming;

        — de aangebrachte bescherming te monitoren op effectiviteit.

      4. Description of the procurement:

        HbR gebruikt de onderhavige overeenkomst voor de uitvoering van inspecties, reparaties en leveren en aanbrengen van kathodische bescherming middels deelopdrachten. Ook wordt de overeenkomst gebruikt voor de inzet bij calamiteiten.

        Met de 2 laagste inschrijvers wordt een overeenkomst gesloten, waarbij het streven van de werkverdeling is:

        1. laagste inschrijver 60 % van de som der deelopdrachten + calamiteitenwerk;

        2. op 1 na laagste inschrijver 40 % van de som der deelopdrachten.

        De opdrachtgever bepaald de werkverdeling.

        De overeenkomst wordt aangegaan voor de periode van de datum van opdrachtverlening tot en met 31.12.2019. Bij het verstrijken van deze periode kunnen de overeenkomsten door de opdrachtgever 4 maal worden verlengd met een periode van 1 jaar.
